  3.  Welcome to PhotoVista 1.0 Pre-release. PhotoVista creates
  4.  spectacular 360-degree panoramas automatically, produces
  5.  high-quality images optimized for Web publishing (the image
  6.  files are extremely compact), and delivers next-generation
  7.  multimedia applications for more compelling commerce sites,
  8.  promotions, entertainment, and training services.

  27.  For best quality images, set your monitor resolution higher than
  28.  256 colors.

  30.  Installation Instructions
  31.  
  32.    1. Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the
  33.       installer, and then double-click the file, photovista.exe.
  34.       The InstallShield Self-Extractor dialog box appears.
  35.    2. Click Yes. The PhotoVista installer launches the
  36.       InstallShield« Wizard.
  37.    3. Follow the prompting of the InstallShield Wizard until it
  38.       comes to the directory to install PhotoVista. Be sure to
  39.       accept the default installation location; do not install
  40.       directly to your c:\ directory.
  41.    4. If you want, you can select Custom Installation, which
  42.       allows you to choose whether or not to install the
  43.       RealSpace Screen Saver, or to install it at a later time.
  44.    5. Follow the remaining prompts of the InstallShield Wizard to
  45.       complete the installation.

  52.     o PhotoVista 1.0 Pre-release
  53.     o Online Help (photovista.hlp)
  54.     o Quick-Start Tutorial (available from the Help menu)
  55.     o Read Me file (pvreadme.txt) into Program Files\Live
  56.       Picture\PhotoVista
  57.     o Sample images into Program Files\Live
  58.       Picture\PhotoVista\Stitchme

  60.  You can also download the RealSpaceViewer (formerly RealVR
  61.  Traveler), available as a standalone application or browser
  62.  plug-in. For more information about the RealSpace technology,
  63.  read the RealSpace white paper.

  65.  Uninstall Instructions
  66.  
  67.    1. From the Start menu, choose Settings, and then choose
  68.       Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears.
  69.    2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. The Add/Remove Programs
  70.       Properties window appears.
  71.    3. Click the Install/Uninstall tab, and then select PhotoVista
  72.       in the scroll list.
  73.    4. Click the Add/Remove button.
  74.    5. In the Confirm File Deletion message box, click Yes to
  75.       remove PhotoVista from your hard drive. The UninstallShield
  76.       program notifies you when the uninstall is complete.
  77.    6. Click OK, and then close the Add-Remove Programs Properties
  78.       window.

  80.  Note: If you installed the RealSpace Screen Saver at a later
  81.  time than the original installation, this program will not be
  82.  removed by the Uninstall program. You need to delete this file
  83.  (Realspace Saver.scr) from the Windows\System directory.

  85.  Known Issues
  86.  
  87.     o Windows NT 3.51 is not available for this pre-release.
  88.     o You need to install to the default location; for this
  89.       pre-release do not install directly to your c:\ directory.
  90.     o The 8mm fisheye lens has not been certified; the 16mm
  91.       fisheye lens has been certified.
